This journey that Ryan & Beth have been on is a love story for the ages. From the way they were called together (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xa4vzq3qS2M&feature=youtu.be), to their new marriage, and the beginning of their lives as one! We were contacted by Beth approximately 6 months ago for the first time. Ryan and Beth were out of town when we initially scheduled a phone call and when we did the call, it was instant connection! After talking to Ryan and Beth about their relationship and how God brought them together, we felt like we had known them for years! After about an hour of getting to know them more and squeezing in a few wedding details, it was clear that it was a perfect match!
The first time we would all get to meet in person was for the day of their engagement! They made the short trip to Asheville and we met at the Biltmore, in the heart of spring! We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day or setting and we all picked up right where we left off! Oh yeah and we also took a few pictures while we were at it!
It was clear after our initial phone consultation, that the connection Beth and Ryan shared was special! During their beautiful engagement session at The Biltmore, we were able to witness that connection in person. They told their love story perfectly and we are so glad we got to be there to witness it!
In the weeks leading up to the wedding day, Jenny and Beth discussed the last few minute details and before we knew it, their special day was here! Beth & Ryan got married at Twigs at Tempietto in Greenville, SC. Though we travel often to Greenville for weddings and engagement shoots, this was our first time getting to visit Twigs. It was such a wonderful venue and the "day-of" staff were amazing! Truth be told, if you were driving by a little too fast, you’d miss it in a heartbeat, but once you make your way in, you’re greeted by a charming indoor/outdoor venue that’s covered to shade you from the sun and surrounded by a perfect blend of lush greenery and unique garden architecture! As Jenny made her way to bridal suite, it was off to capture some of the beautiful wedding details before the groom and his family arrived!
Their ceremony was a beautiful in every way. The way Beth and Ryan looked at each other while they each read their vows was moving! Not to mention that first moment Ryan saw Beth making her way down the aisle with her dad. They shared communion together during the ceremony and shortly after these two were joined together as one in marriage!
As guests started to eat and partake in some dance floor action, we were able to sneak off with Beth & Ryan for some couples & bridal photos in the field we were told about earlier in the day. At one point, someone even mentioned that the field wasn’t that pretty. I’m glad we checked this out for ourselves because this was the perfect spot for golden hour wedding photos!!!
After making our way back to the wedding reception, the dance floor was alive! Beth and Ryan found their footing on the dance floor and the night went on from there!
From beginning to end, Beth & Ryan’s wedding day was spectacular! It was easy to see that everyone who was there from friends to family was having a great time! The love and support from their friends and family and the mutual respect Ryan and Beth have for each other as well as their families was very apparent! It all started with a phone call about a wedding photography, but we feel like we left here having truly made some new friends and witnessed something beautiful!
