For us, we know winter is officially here when we can no longer travel up to some of our favorite places like Black Balsam Knob because the Blue Ridge Parkway closes for the season. Fortunately for us, it seems like a ton of couples scheduled their engagements, elopements, and more right before winter really hit! One in recent memory that stood out to us was Taylor & Gannon’s anniversary session! They were going to be traveling for Thanksgiving and were so their plan was to bring their new puppy Wells and do some anniversary/family photos with their fur baby before passing through Asheville! Boy are we glad they did!
Anniversary sessions are always fun for multiple reasons but mainly less stress. Most couples aren’t concerned about save the dates, or getting the pictures in time for the wedding, or “my mom requested this photo,” (lol). They have already been through the entire process and truly value images that continue to tell their story! Taylor and Gannon were no exception! They were so laid back and sweet, and even though it got cold & windy towards the end, they were totally troopers to keep shooting to capture some of that beautiful sky! They were an absolute dream to work with and as if that wasn’t enough, they brought their precious little pup Wells! He was a miniature goldendoodle and he was as cute as could be, but we know that pictures will do justice better than our words ever could, so enjoy following along on their little adventure!
Congrats to Taylor & Gannon on their one year marriage anniversary and here's to you guys and many more years of happiness!
