One of the things we love about being wedding photographers is getting to travel! This holiday season we were foruntate enough to line up a wedding in Florida on New Year's Eve and this allowed us the opportunity to visit family and friends down south as well. It was a quaint outdoor wedding with a slight hint of what we like to call southern chic :). Initially the rain slowed things down (ya know because it's FL), but patience paid off as the lighting was beautiful afterwards! It was our first "reverse" wedding where they got together as a family first, ate, reminisced and then it was time to change and on to the ceremony. Of course we are very fond of our natural light especially right after the rain, but this wedding came with a new challenge: Shooting the ceremony outdoors at night with virtually no natural light. Luckily we have learned a thing or two in our time shooting so we were able to adjust and capture Kenneth and Samantha's beautiful moment with ease. The darkness of night added a beautiful natural contrast to their photos and we couldn't have been more pleased with the entire experience. As the new year came to an end, we were blessed to be able to spend the remaining time with friends we haven't seen in a while as well as spend time with family on the days leading up to! Remember friends, family, and followers, life is beautiful and you always need to take time to smell the roses, even when working. Joe & Jenn
