Chestnut Ridge Wedding: Leah + Dan

Late November is a beautiful time of year here in the Asheville area. There’s still a little bit of fall foliage left on the trees, it starts getting cool enough in the evening to have fire pits, and for couples like Leah and Dan, it’s the perfect time of year to get married in the mountains of western North Carolina! They chose the immaculate Chestnut Ridge as the setting for their beautiful union and on this day where the weather had been threatening rain, we were greeted by softly lit skies that thankfully never seemed to give us trouble! Looking back on this amazing day, there was so much you could easily fall in love with! From the unique layout and timeless style of Chestnut Ridge itself, to the lovely design job by Mingle Events, it was hard not to find yourself just stopping to appreciate the sheer beauty of what was in front of you. But from the wedding photographer perspective, the true joy and delight of the day was getting to capture the genuine and priceless moments shared by not only Leah and Dan together, but also the connection they share with their loved ones! The fun started in the bridal/groom suites and the laughs never stopped! The first looks with Leah and her Dad as well as Dan were full of the sweetest happy tears! The joy they both shared was contagious! The rest of the night was an enjoyable rush! Those who gave speeches knocked it out of the park and let’s not forget a father daughter dance for the ages! Our buddy Robby with A Bride’s DJ took over from there and the dance floor action was happening all night! Last but certainly not least, the night ended with a special Chestnut Ridge signature exit, fireworks! It was perfect was to put the proverbial exclamation point on this amazing wedding day!

Congrats to Leah & Dan and a special thank you to the amazing wedding vendors who helped bring their day together like no other!
