Highland Brewing Wedding: Sarah + George

Clemson diehards, great beer, and a dance floor that will be remember for ages? I could only be talking about Sarah and George’s wedding at Highland Brewing Company in Asheville! It feels forever ago when we first connected with Sarah via email once she started the search for a wedding photographer. She told us soon after her and George had met at while both attending Clemson University and they would like to do their engagement session there. Having visited Clemson’s campus for an engagement and for some senior sessions already we knew this would be a perfect location for them to feel at ease and for us to grab some casual shots of these two together!

When their wedding day finally arrived, these two picked up right where they had left off! Calm and as cool as could be except this time they were surrounded by their best friends! Instantly you got the feeling when you walked in that this was going to be a fun day! Good times and good brews were definitely the themes of the weekend! After navigating the rain and getting to the Highland, we were able to set up their first look! The weather put a damper on their outdoor plans for the ceremony but thankfully their venue still provided some coverage so we were able to squeeze in a lot of sweet moments outside!

The beautiful wedding details provided by the team at Flowers by Larry really helped give the inside industrial feel of the brewery a nice pop of color (love purple)! The team at Highland kept everybody hydrated, and our man Jimi aka DJ Bones got the party going after the ceremony with one of the most happening dance floors we can remember in a while! From making it rain on our the new bride, to what can only be described as an all in tribute to Bon Jovi, it was an action packed evening from beginning to end!
