I still remember the day we met Ioana and Emanuele at Old Europe Pastries in downtown Asheville! In between laughs, decadent bites of dessert, and sips of coffee, we got to know these two and their vision for their wedding day! They had switched it up a bit from our first contacts with them planning on getting married in the courthouse and then exploring downtown for some couples portraits afterwards. On this day, they informed us that they had decided to book The Farm in Candler! Having become very familiar with The Farm over the past few years, we were excited about the change! They were going to have around 25 of their closest family and friends in attendance and the celebration was to be intimate but fun!. After hearing their vision, we knew that The Farm was going to be the perfect spot for their wedding day!
Once the day finally arrived a few short weeks later, we hit the ground running! Their wedding day was non-stop action for us from beginning to end. It was funny looking back because most of the time for a 2 or 3 hour intimate wedding, everything usually moves at a slightly slower pace, but between the Emanuele and Ioana’s excitement as well as that of their families, it really felt like there was always something going on. Somehow it felt like they squeezed a full day wedding into their intimate celebration. Shortly after arriving it was first look straight to ceremony, straight to family photos, to couples photos, to speeches, to more couples photos and of course like most of our wedding days, we thoroughly enjoyed getting to sneak these two off for a few by themselves. Emanuele was full of energy from beginning to end! He kept us laughing and kept Ioana smiling, so to say we had an awesome day would be putting it lightly! Even though it was an intimate wedding, and we were short on time, the one thing this day was not short on was beautiful moments and we can’t wait to share them with you. We hope you enjoy!
