This fall wedding season was by far one of our busiest and considering how crazy it was being a small business in 2020, we are beyond grateful for the abundance! We were blessed to have 30 weddings in a 60 day timespan with the help of our awesome team, and we could not have ended October with a cooler couple! Meet Courtney and Austin! If you’re thinking to yourself, ‘Hey wait, these two look familiar,’ that’s because they had one of the most beautiful winter engagements last year (probably ever)! If you didn’t get to see it, you should totally check it out and click here first! The entire time leading up to Courtney and Austin’s big day was like planning a wedding with a friend. We hit it off with these two from day 1 and since they were both mountain bikers too, it basically made us like best friends (lol). Their wedding was held at our favorite western North Carolina wedding venue, The Parker Mill. It was at the very end of October and usually by this time of year, all the fall color as faded and the leaves have fallen. Not the case for their wedding day! The fall color peaked late this year and the reds, yellows, and oranges blanketed the trees surrounding The Parker Mill. Translation, fall wedding perfection!
One of our favorite parts of Courtney and Austin’s wedding day was a unique spin on an old tradition. You’ve likely heard of a first look, and a first touch but what about a first shot? Yes, your favorite liquor, a moment alone, and taking it all in (literally and figuratively). They were totally true to themselves and between all the little moments, the non-stop laughs, and beautiful fall backdrop for portraits, this was easily one of our favorite weddings this year! We hope you all enjoy following along as much as we did!
As always, a special thank you to the vendors who helped to make this day awesome!
