We first connected with Kristen and Faith in January of this year and we couldn’t be happier to have bonded with these beautiful ladies! They were getting married at one of the most unique asheville wedding venues (and one of our favorite) June Bug Retro Resort. After learning more about the vision for their day, and getting to know them both, we knew we were going to be in for a super fun wedding day! All we had to do was wait. Fortunately we got to meet them both in person for their engagement session over the summer! They had their engagement at one of our favorite locations in WNC, Black Balsam Knob. Most photographers and locals know this spot, but if you’ve never been, you have to go! It’s one of the best views and most scenic hikes in the area! Kristen and Faith were every bit as sweet in person as they were on the phone and even more fun. They have such a fun energy, and playful personalities, it’s hard not to instantly love these two! This was only matched by their passion for each other and leaving that night, we could not have been any more excited for their special day!

When the day of their wedding finally arrived, these ladies picked up right where they left off with the fun vibes! We hit the ground running with their first look in the tree house on the venue property and it only picked up from there! An emotional ceremony was highlighted by many of their loved ones sharing stories about Kristen and Faith. Tears flowed as their friends and family transported them in time and I think everyone in attendance could tell how special this was for them. After sealing the deal with a kiss, these ladies had one of the most epic dance parties we can remember in recent times! The dance floor has become one of our favorite parts of a wedding day as photographers, and Kristen & Faith’s wedding took that to another level! One of the things we generally see at a lot of weddings is a good portion of guests just relaxing, and only some of the guests on the dance floor. Seriously, almost every person in attendance was on the dance floor at one point during the evening and they brought the party!
