Let me preface this one by saying, I don’t think there enough flame emojis to do Alex and Blake’s wedding at The Parker Mill justice! Our first time working with Alex was for her bridal session and we knew we were going to be in for an epic wedding day. After getting to spend that evening with her and getting to know her more on a personal level, we knew Blake had to be an amazing guy. He was every bit of that and a true gentleman.
We also loved their story of how they met, and we think Alex told it best! “We met on Tinder - like all the other great love stories of our time. We went on our first date at a local bar in Greenville, NC in late August of 2017. We learned quickly that we were from two different worlds. He was born and raised on a hog farm in a tiny rural town outside of Greenville. I was a vegan playing collegiate volleyball from Houston. As it turned out, we had more in common than we thought. We dated for a year, then decided to move to Houston together after I graduated. Blake took a knee and asked me to marry him in 2020 on Christmas morning. I couldn’t have been more excited.”
That excitement definitely carried on into their wedding day! It was all fun and no stress! From the bridal parties to the dance floor, I don’t think we experienced one dull moment. It was filled with little moments all throughout but where these two shined is when the sun started to go down! Blake and Alex have so much chemistry on camera and combined with the amazing scenery of The Parker Mill, it would’ve been impossible not to have some killer captures of these two at sunset! They absolutely crushed it and if these lovelys brought the heat, their friends & family brought the party! It was an epic day at our favorite wedding venue and one we’re stoked to have you follow along on!
Big congrats to Alex and Blake, and their families!
A special thank you to all of the amazing wedding vendors who helped to make this day perfect!
