This wedding day brought us to the beautiful mountain country of north Georgia, but it started out much further west!  We first connected with Caleb and Hanna for their proposal in Wyoming at The Grand Teton National Park.  Caleb reached out in the weeks leading up to their trip. It was apparent from the get go that he was crazy about Hanna and wanted this special moment to be perfect!  After discussing his vision and planning everything out, the day finally arrived and it could not have gone any better.  Hanna and Caleb had the place all to themselves, the light was heavenly, and the mountains were popping.  Hanna’s reaction said it all.  Caleb hit one knee and she was radiating joy and and surprise.  Naturally she said yes, and the rest was history.  As their session progressed we soon learned they were from Franklin, NC, which was only about 20 minutes down the road from us here in NC!  As some of you know we spend our summers out west and it has been crazy how many couples we’ve connected with literally just right down the street from us where we live on the east coast.  After leaving their session, it felt like we had just made two new friends so you can imagine our delight when they asked us a few weeks later if we would be a part of their wedding!

Hanna and Caleb decided to say their I dos at Yonah Mountain Vineyards in North Georgia.  It is a beautiful property tucked right into the blue ridge mountains.  The surrounding views, the beautiful facilities, and the overall atmosphere made this venue an absolute dream to shoot at!  Hanna and Caleb had an awesome crew making up their wedding party and it felt like instant camaraderie from the get go!  While they naturally helped to keep things fun and lighthearted, there were still plenty of happy tears to go around.  By far our favorite part of their wedding day was Hanna and Caleb’s first touch.  They decided they didn’t want to see each other beforehand but they still wanted to be able to share a special moment together beforehand so they decided they would exchange gifts and vows beforehand.  It was as tender as a moment can get and one that I’m sure these two will remember for a life time!  Big congrats to Hannah and Caleb and their families, and as always, you hope you all enjoy following along!
